Project Details
This post-construction cleaning project was carried out at Pungyeongchae Urbanity, a newly constructed apartment complex in Pyeongtaek. The 1,210 sqft unit had recently undergone construction and interior finishing work, requiring specialized cleaning to address fine construction dust, residual building materials, and debris left throughout the property. One of the key areas of attention was the window assemblies. Construction dust and small debris were visible inside the window tracks, along frame joints, and around the edges of the newly installed windows. These areas required detailed cleaning to remove accumulated residue from narrow channels and corners. Newly installed flooring, baseboards, door frames, and other interior finishes also required careful handling to prevent surface damage during the cleaning process. The newly installed kitchen cabinetry, island, built-in storage systems, and walk-in closets presented numerous horizontal surfaces, joints, and recessed spaces where construction dust could settle. Cleaning focused on preparing these finished installations for handover, including exposed surfaces, interior shelving, and hard-to-reach corners. Bathroom fixtures, tiled surfaces, utility spaces, and newly installed equipment were also addressed as part of the post-construction cleaning scope. Unlike routine residential cleaning, this project was focused on the final stage of construction preparation rather than removing everyday household dirt. By addressing construction-related dust and residue across the apartment, Choice & Joy helped prepare the newly completed property for its next stage of inspection and handover.
