This move-out cleaning was completed on September 22 at D’ETRE Riviere in Godeok International New Town, Pyeongtaek. This particular home required much more than a standard move-out cleaning because a large amount of household waste and personal belongings had been left behind. We removed approximately six to seven 75-liter trash bags and an additional 20-liter bag of waste. Food remained inside the refrigerator, and various items such as dog food, pet toys, clothing, blankets, a vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan, and other everyday household belongings also had to be sorted and cleared before the detailed cleaning could begin. Because a dog had been living in the property, pet hair and indoor odor were also major inspection points. After removing the remaining belongings, we carefully worked through the floors, corners, base areas, storage spaces, and other places where pet hair tends to collect. For the floors, we used a dedicated antibacterial floor cleaner to remove residue while also providing additional odor care throughout the home. Particular attention was given to areas around the bedrooms, living room, entrance, utility space, and other frequently used sections of the property. The kitchen was cleaned in detail, including the countertops, sink and faucet, cooktop, range hood and filters, microwave, cabinetry surfaces, and surrounding backsplash areas. The refrigerator was emptied and cleaned inside, including shelves, drawers, door compartments, and interior surfaces where food residue and odors could remain. Bathrooms were cleaned across the toilet, sink, faucet, mirrors, shower enclosure, bathtub area, fixtures, wall tiles, floor tiles, and edges around the wet areas. Water marks and residue on glass and chrome surfaces were addressed carefully to restore a clean finish. The walk-in closet, built-in storage, laundry area, balcony, bedrooms, and common spaces were also cleaned thoroughly. Flooring, accessible cabinet surfaces, doors, frames, windows, and other frequently checked areas were reviewed before completion. Move-out cleaning is often very different from one property to another.
